We run a number of facilitated support groups for men, women and children. These happen at various times throughout the year, so to find out when the next one is happening visit our Events page, or contact Cath Strong our Groups Coordinator on cath@kindredservices.org.nz.
Pathfinders
Pathfinders is a six week programme for primary aged school children. They learn skills to manage stress, difficult emotions and are supported to make good choices.
Cost: Free
Men’s Support Group (On Hold)
The Men’s Support Group is held on Monday evenings in Kumeū. We help you create healthy boundaries and relationships, accountability to yourself and others, and the integration of heart, mind and body.
Cost: We invite a koha from our group participants of around $10-$20 per session but we don’t want finances to be a barrier to attendance, so ask only that you invest with your time and commitment and pay what you can afford.
Wāhine Toa
The Women’s Support Group is a free eight-week programme held during the day in school terms. Wāhine Toa is a wellbeing haerenga, offering exposure to a range of healing modalities and practices for wāhine to add to their kete.
